Passenger Questions

Q. How close is the Jet Centre to the Main Airport?

A. All our Jet Centre’s at each location are located a short distance to the main apron. XLR staff meet all aircraft with one of our vehicles and deliver passengers to the Jet Centre.


Q. What is the arrival procedure when using the Jet Centre?

A. When arriving at any of our Jet centre’s our staff will be ready and waiting to receive you from an hour before the flight departure time. There are warm comfortable lounges for you to relax in prior to departure or you are welcome to arrive and simply be boarded directly on to the aircraft.


Q. What time should I arrive for my flight?

A. We would advise arriving 15 minutes prior to your flight in case there are any formal procedures to go through such as security. 


Q. What catering will be provided on board our aircraft?

A. This depends on the arrangements you have made when booking your aircraft and falls to the aircraft operator. Most Companies offer a small selection of catering dependant on the time of day and the majority of aircraft have a complimentary bar with snacks.


Q. Where can I park my car and how much will it cost?

A. All of our Jet centres have car parking spaces available located adjacent to the Jet centre building, these spaces are offered free of charge for up to 2 weeks (charges apply in some destinations after two weeks).


Q. Does the Jet Centre offer seating before we fly?

A. All our Jet Centres offer comfortable private seating with some offering expansive views of the runways. Complimentary drinks and snacks are offered in all locations as well as WiFi, magazines and newspapers.


Q. Can we take photographs of our private jet experience?

A. Yes of course, please make the most of your experience and enjoy every moment. If we can do anything to help you enjoy the experience please let a member of staff know.


Q. What is the location of the Jet Centre, do you have a map you can send me?

A. Please refer to the ‘Contact Us’ page on the website for maps and postcodes of each of our Jet Centre’s.


Q. Can we take our pets?

A. XLR currently does not have the Passport Scheme set up in any of our locations however our expert team are working with DEFRA and we will update this as soon as we can.

Operator Questions

Q. What are the opening times of the Airport Jet Centre’s?

A. Please refer to the Technical Data tab on the main page of the website.


Q. Will I require a PPR number?

A. Each of our Jet Centre’s operate PPR numbering systems to enable efficient parking plans to be put in place. Once you receive your Confirmation from your handling request a PPR number will be issued.


Q. Can the Jet Centre assist with GAR Clearance?

A. Yes. All of our Jet Centre staff have excellent relationships with UKBA and will be more than happy to facilitate your requests. Please try and send them 24 hours before flight arrivals.


Q. Where is the Jet Centre located?

A. Please refer to the ‘Find a Jet Centre’ location on the main website page.


Q. Does the Jet Centre have parking close to the FBO?

A. All of our Jet centres have car parking spaces available located adjacent to the Jet centre building, these spaces are offered free of charge for up to 2 weeks (charges apply in some destinations after two weeks).


Q. Where will our aircraft be parked in relation to the FBO?

A. Parking is allocated based on size and weight of each jet. It is not easy to give this information until the day of the operation, however each aircraft at all locations will be met by a uniformed co-ordinator with a vehicle and our parking positions are only a short drive and in some cases walkable distance from the Jet Centre.


Q. Does the Jet Centre offer a passenger/crew lounge?

A. All our Jet Centres offer comfortable private seating with some offering expansive views of the runways. Complimentary drinks and snacks are offered in all locations as well as WIFI, magazines and newspapers. All of our lounges offer crew quiet areas and have showers which will help rejuvenate tired crew members.


Q. Can our clients take their car direct to the Aircraft?

A. It depends which Jet Centre you are using. Call the XLR Jet Centre you will be using to find out what options would most benefit your customers. Please refer to the Contact page on the main website.


Q. Can our passengers bring their dog?

A. XLR currently does not have the Passport Scheme set up in any of our locations however our expert team are working with DEFRA and we will update this as soon as we can.


Q. Do you offer Fuel?

A. At Exeter we operate fuel directly through our own staff. At our XLR Executive Jet Centre at Birmingham Airport, one of our corporate coordinators will be able to book fuel for your aircraft. We only work with the best fuel companies and a representative from AVFuel will be only to pleased to fuel your aircraft.


Q. What are the payment methods for handling?

A. At all locations all major credit and debit cards are accepted as well as Multiservice and UVair.

A. At all locations all major credit and debit cards are accepted as well as Multiservice, UVair, AVFuel, AirBP & AEG Fuels.

A.  Please speak with a member of staff at the XLR location you use the most and we can discuss the various options we have available.
